David Hall as Michael Glaser. Not necessarily, but it becomes much more freeing to be able to acknowledge something that exists, maybe kid about it, play with it a little bit and move on. One thing David and I had and still have is a very deep friendship. A post shared by Paul Michael Glaser paulmichaelglaserofficial. I had a really good teacher who I worked with for a long time to get past my rage and anger and gain some insight into what happened to me and what I could or could not do with it.

The purpose of fear is to awaken us, to help remind us that we are conscious individuals. There are equal amounts of fear and love. You should want to welcome fear. Glaser married producer Tracy Barone in and together they had a daughter, Zoe. The marriage ended in But for the last few years, he has concentrated on his art, a passion that began about 10 years ago when he needed illustrations for a book he was writing. While working in London, he began sketching and discovered that he loved doing it and could lose himself for hours.

Glaser now has a website where one can purchase his whimsical, colorful designs on items like phone cases, T-shirts and throw blankets. I told her I would try, and around the same time, I was about to go to the U. I took my sketch pad and my iPad with me, and started sketching some ideas.

By the time I had finished the tour, I had accumulated about 29 illustrations. I kept at it and I also started to get really into painting. I got fascinated by Photoshop and how you could use the pencil stroke and add electronic color. I kept working and working and working at it, and then suddenly, I had a bunch of work. People have a tendency not to let you out of the cubby hole.

We are also trying to do a projection that would be like a slide show. In total, I have finished around pieces, though some are more incomplete than complete. I look at the work and I was putting aside some pictures and you know, every once in awhile you get a perspective on your life.

This is five years of work. I really like it and I enjoy the process of making them. The good news is I can disappear for five or six hours when I paint or sketch, and the bad news is I can disappear for five or six hours. Yes, I live Playa vista and I work in my apartment. I have a desk here, and I have my all art around me. A friend of mine suggested it, and the more I thought of it, I realized it was apt description of what this is. I find storytelling to be one of the most sacred things we can do in our lives by passing information from generation to generation.

So I look at it that way. I pose a question or make an observation. The work, by nature, is a meditative experience. How does it feel to put yourself out there as an artist now? Is it scary? Is it thrilling to tackle this third phase of your life? Anytime you put yourself out there, it can be both.
